REPORTING TO PARENTS

Communicating and reporting to our community

At St Joseph's School, we believe that parents and whānau play an important role in their child’s education. Our reporting process is designed to be informative, robust and aims to reinforce that we are working in collaboration with you in order to gain success for each child.

Parents are invited to discuss their child’s progress at any time throughout the school year.

Outside of this, there are two formal reports, one early in July and the other in December and Parent interviews are scheduled at the end of the 2nd term. Interviews are organised to allow for personal discussion on the progress of the individual child and provide parents with the opportunity to volunteer extra information which they feel will help with their child’s progress.

You are welcome to arrange to see the Principal or classroom teacher about your child by appointment anytime throughout the year.

Parents are welcome to arrange a meeting with their child’s teacher at any point to discuss their child’s progress.
