Please say goodbye to your child/ren at the school gate. You are only able to come onto the school site if you absolutely need to (we completely understand that this may be the case for some of our younger students, and for those who may be feeling nervous). If this is the case you will need to be signed in.
Touchless thermometer will be used to take the student’s temperature every morning. Phone calls home to collect their child will be made to parents/caregivers if their child has a fever. Temperature over 37.8
Please ensure Kelly at our school office has correct contact information as this is essential in times like this.
An up-to-date bus list for school bus services must be maintained to enable contact tracing to take place if required. Parents must inform the school office before 2:15pm of any last minute changes.
No parents in the classroom cloak bays.
All adults on school property are to wear a mask.
Please maintain social distancing from other families and students when waiting.
Please do not drop off children before 8:15am in the morning.
A Contact Register will be used throughout Alert Level 2 for all adults entering the school site.
We continue to ensure good hand washing and other hygiene practices to stop the spread of disease.
If your child is new to school, we will contact you to plan their visits and start date please call Kelly at the office.
If you need information during the school day please phone the school office. Phone 06 8388306 or cell phone 027 2055583
Please bring a drink bottle to school each day as children will not be able to use the drinking fountains.
Under Alert Level 2, students must stay at home if they are sick, and we will need to send anyone home immediately if they show any symptoms.
The use of masks is not required in primary or intermediate schools. However, if parents would prefer their child wears one, they may do so. The MOH unite against Covid website states ‘Face coverings in schools and tertiary education facilities for those aged 12 and over is strongly encouraged, but it is not a requirement’.
